About this site

This website is an online resource for subscribers to the IDS Pensions Law Reports service. It gives access to the texts of more than 230 case reports published in the IDS Pensions Law Reports series since 1996. The service provides full transcripts of judgments for all important cases on pensions issues decided in the UK courts and the European Court, plus selected, potentially influential decisions from courts in other jurisdictions. Each case report includes a summary of the facts and the issues raised, together with a short comment summing up the significance of the case. New case reports are added to the site each month. The series is currently edited by Andrew Powell, Partner and Head of Pensions at Hammonds.

The Pensions Law Reports series is citable as an official law report. The reports are relied upon by almost all the leading pensions law firms in the UK as well as pensions consultants, pension scheme managers and trustees.
